Cross Country Video

We just got a new computer that comes with a movie maker! This is my first attempt to edit video clips and add music. These videos were taken during the schooling session that I blogged about earlier. It was July 2 at Donida Farm. We had such a great time, and I think that shows in the video!

Ohhhhh....it looks like fun!!! My sister and I did some jumping today, and I actually almost fell off while going over a two foot jump. I have not really jumped in about 12 years, and had to remember how to grip with my knees. I got it down though...thank goodness!

It appears that you have been away on a small vacation as well :)

Great pictures, and I will have to check out the Aussie rescue link below tomorrow. Dylan is pretty darn cute!

Where is Ross Lake? Banks Lake was pretty cold in some areas. I even wonder if there are some natural springs in parts of the lake, because it would be so cold that it would literally take my breath away! I have NEVER had that happen before. It was like I was gasping for air, but I was doing nothing...strange.

Yes, I am starting to appreciate my helmet more and more! I never wore one when I was younger, and I sometimes gripe about wearing one now, but after a few close calls, I am happy to have a little extra protection...I think ;)

I also forgot to mention that I have never been to Stoneybrook, but I have heard of it.

Heidi and Dave, It was very fun to see the movie from July 2. The jumping over the water was from the opposite side from where I was standing so it was great to see a different view point. Remember, I was in pain at that point and not walking as much as I normally would. Did Ting take the movies? Heidi the editing and the music went well together. The music was light and lifting like the jumping was.
The pics from our trip were great to see again. I would like to do that trip all over again with Dad along. Thanks for the memories.

Looks like you and your horse were having a blast. Anyone who does eventing is off-the-charts brave, IMHO. I prefer to have at least two of my horse's feet on the ground at all times.
